World History Explorers Network is a grouping of history enthusiasts at the McGill Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL)  who share an interest in exploring bygone worlds and creating multi-media narratives that summarize their exploration findings for registered users.

Narratives prepared by enthusiasts are showcased in the on-line W.H.E.N. Collection along side the the related historical context as characterised by professional historians.

TThe Collection is "map-based" and its interactive nature permits registered users to explore one geographic focus area through time or explore all focus areas for one time period at their own pace. Users can revisit challenging narratives and explore topics that interest them deeply as they are not obliged to follow any pre-determined sequence.
